    Gerry getz Chet ist ein aufstrebendes Jazz Trio aus Berlin, bestehend aus Marie Séférian (Gesang), Timo Vollbrecht (Bass) und Benjamin Attiche (Gitarre). Wie der Name schon andeutet, bezieht die Band ihre Inspiration von den drei Cool Jazz Musikern Gerry Mulligan, Stan Getz und Chet Baker. Wenn man der Band zuhört, spürt man eine Mischung aus emotionaler Ehrlichkeit und dynamischer Energie. Die frischen Arrangements bieten eine Transparenz, die man üblicherweise nur bei Kammermusik findet. Die drei Improvisateure verbinden kontrapunktuelle Melodien, um ihre eigene Harmoniesprache zu formen. Dadurch bereichern sie die Musik der 50er Jahre durch ihre eigene, individuelle und zeitgenössische Interpretation.
